A small-kitchen wedding wishlist: find the space first

Как проверить каждое кухонное пожелание по месту хранения и использованию, чтобы свадебные подарки не остались в коробках.

✨ Quick step

Preparing a wedding?

Create a wedding wishlist so guests can choose useful gifts and reply about attendance.

Build a small-kitchen wedding wishlist around storage: decide where a gift will live and how you will use it before choosing the item. A wish is ready to share when its dimensions, contents and acceptable alternatives are clear. “Compact” is not a measurement.

This is a guide for couples selecting kitchen wishes, rather than a product list or renovation plan. You can complete the first checks in a note or spreadsheet without registering anywhere.

Give every wish a storage place

Walk through the kitchen together and name the tasks you want to make easier. Identify a place for each item. If a gift will replace something you already own, agree when that space will actually be freed.

Measure more than the empty shelf. Check the opening and whether you can take the item out. Include handles, lids and other protruding parts. For appliances, consult the manufacturer's current placement and operating instructions; small dimensions alone do not establish suitability.

Keep private measurements in your notes. Do not share your address, a kitchen plan or identifying photographs.

Three selection passes

  1. Need: describe a real use for every item. Set unclear wishes aside.
  2. Space: check the selected version, including protrusions, against the storage place. For a set, check individual parts rather than just the box.
  3. Clarity: let your partner read the description without explanation. Can they tell which version fits and what to do if it is unavailable?

Different price points can remain in the list. Price does not replace a size check, and an oversized set is not useful merely because it adds another budget option.

A worked example

A hypothetical couple wants to replace several mismatched containers with one agreed set. They verify the number of pieces, external dimensions of each container and height with lids. If the seller only lists the package size, they ask for details or postpone the wish.

This illustrates the process, not a recommended product. A promotional photograph does not establish whether pieces nest or what the total storage height is.

A clear item template

> One set of two containers in the selected model, both lids included. Each container with its lid must be no larger than 18 × 12 × 10 cm, based on checked seller information. We need one set. Please avoid a larger size or an extra third container. If this version is unavailable, ask us before choosing a replacement.

These dimensions are examples; insert your own checked limits. Add the model, variant and an ordinary public product link if useful. Do not share a basket, order or account link.

See the separate set contents guide for more detail. If you want to reduce the whole list, use the minimalist wedding wishlist guide.

Keep one agreed version

A shared note works for a few wishes. Decide who updates it and avoid sending separate copies with conflicting dimensions.

Once the descriptions are ready, an Osanta wedding page provides one link for gifts and their descriptions. The current public page connects creation to email access; signed-in users use their existing account. It helps communicate agreed wishes. Measuring and checking technical requirements remain the couple's responsibility.

Check one complete item before adding the rest. The service does not replace manufacturer instructions or establish that an appliance can be installed.

Before sharing

  • Every item has a real use and a storage place.
  • Handles, lids and protrusions are included.
  • Set quantities are explicit.
  • Alternatives have clear limits.
  • Your partner understands the description unaided.
  • There is no address, floor plan or personal link.
  • Unverified dimensions and uncertain items are set aside.

If something fails the space check, return to the need and consider another format before sharing the wish.

Questions on this topic

Where should we start?

Choose a storage place and a real use. Measure the available space and check that you can take the item out, then select a particular version.

Which dimensions do guests need?

The full item dimensions, including protruding parts, the quantity and limits for alternatives. They do not need your address or kitchen plan.

Is the word compact enough?

No. Give checked measurements or maximum dimensions in centimetres, stating whether handles and lids are included.

Can we request a complete set?

Yes, if every part has a place and the description explains which pieces you need and whether buying them separately is acceptable.

Does Osanta verify appliances?

That capability is not claimed here. The couple checks dimensions, placement requirements and compatibility using current manufacturer and seller information.
