How to add a subscription to your wedding wishlist

Одна понятная карточка подарочного доступа: какие условия проверить у поставщика и что написать гостям, не раскрывая данные аккаунта.

✨ Quick step

Preparing a wedding?

Create a wedding wishlist so guests can choose useful gifts and reply about attendance.

To add a subscription to your wedding wishlist, specify the service, plan, duration, region and a gift format offered by the provider. Check activation, compatibility with an existing subscription and renewal terms separately. Do not include account emails, usernames, payment details or gift codes.

This guide is for couples who have already chosen a subscription. It is not a service comparison or a guide to cash gifts and gift cards.

Check whether the access can be gifted

A service name alone does not define the gift. Before listing it, consult the provider's official gift-access information:

  • Is a gift format offered?
  • Does it work in the intended country?
  • Can it be activated on an existing account?
  • When does the paid period start, and is there an activation deadline?
  • Is a payment method required, and what happens when access expires?

Ask the provider if an answer is missing. Do not present an unconfirmed condition as fact or ask a guest to buy blindly. Recheck before purchase because terms can change.

What to include

DetailWhat to write
Service and planExact public names, without a username
DurationFor example, three months of access
RegionCountry of use, not a home address
Gift formatA method confirmed by the provider
ActivationWho activates it and what needs private agreement
RenewalVerified terms or a request to check before buying
AlternativeAnother duration or plan you have agreed to accept

These are prompts for your description, not separate Osanta fields. See the broader guide to describing a wedding wishlist item.

Example wording

Suppose you have confirmed that your chosen provider offers a three-month gift: “We would like three months on our chosen plan. The exact name and public offer page are in this item. It must work in our country and with an existing account. We will activate it ourselves after the wedding. If three months are unavailable, one month is also welcome; please ask privately before choosing another plan.”

This does not confirm an offer from any particular brand. In your actual item, give the verified service name, country and gift format rather than leaving guests to guess.

If you already pay for access

Check whether the gift extends the current period, starts immediately or requires a different plan. Do not assume durations stack. If compatibility remains unclear, choose an agreed alternative or remove the wish for now.

Hand over access privately

Exchange gift codes and any necessary delivery details privately. Do not publish passwords, account emails, usernames, card numbers, receipts or personal checkout links. Use a public offer page without account details or order tokens.

Decide who will check when the paid period ends. Do not assume the giver will fund renewal. Activation and renewal are governed by the provider's terms.

Where to keep the wish

Draft the description in a note and check it against the table. Once it makes sense on its own, include it in your Osanta wedding wishlist. The public page describes a gift list with ideas with or without a shop link and one link to share with guests.

Here, Osanta is used to record a wish, not to sell, activate or renew the subscription. A one-off shared activity is a different topic: see wedding experience gifts.

Before sharing

  • Service, plan, duration and country are precise.
  • The provider confirms the gift format.
  • Existing-account compatibility and start date have been checked.
  • Payment and renewal terms are clear.
  • An alternative or a request to discuss it is included.
  • No account details, payment information or codes appear in the text or link.

Questions on this topic

Is the service name enough?

Add the plan, duration, region and gift format so guests know which access you mean.

Should I publish my account email?

No. Share any necessary handover information privately; keep usernames and passwords out of the wishlist.

Will the gift work with an existing subscription?

Check with the provider. Do not assume that paid periods automatically combine.

What if the chosen duration is unavailable?

Specify another acceptable duration in advance or ask guests to discuss an alternative privately before buying.

Does Osanta manage renewal?

This guide uses Osanta to describe the wish. Check activation and renewal with the subscription provider.
